I was so impressed that you were SO impressed with how the streets and street lights, sidewalks were all laid out, with all utilities connected, and then to read about it, the way you described the home walk-through with the field manager and then the “home owners manual”. . .I was just curious as to what feed back you’ve gotten when you tell about this. Oh, fyi, we have had to call the contractor twice now. Once because the air conditioning “dampening” system wasn’t working because the “controller” wasn’t working properly. An air conditioning specialist came out and ordered a new “controller” so that everything will now work properly. Then the carpeting between the kitchen hardwood floor and family room started coming up and again we called the contractor and he sent out the carpeting specialist and they immediately fixed the problem. Hope this makes sense to you. Any-hoo, we have a two year warranty on the entire home which covers everything, paint, window, electrical, anything concerning the construction of the house, and then a 40 year warranty on the roof. The appliances, stove, oven, microwave are under a manufacturer’s warranty. We bought a new washer and dryer of course and for $150-ish got a 5 year extended warranty which starts after the first year manufacturer’s warranty. And of course you know about the refrigerator which is working beautifully! Oh, and I love your description of the solar panels and the garbage disposal!
